Bharghavi Balagopal is a performing Veena artist whose training carries an exceptional lineage: she is a disciple in the tradition of Needamangalam Krishnamurthy Bhagavathar, one of the great masters of the Veena in the 20th century. This lineage brings historical depth and musical authenticity to every lesson she teaches.
As the co-founder of Spotlight Academy, Bharghavi built the institution from the ground up - creating a space where students could receive classical training of genuine quality in a nurturing, community-centered environment.
